(1) Brian and I got married in Nov 2017 and have a total of 6 children between us. (2) I was on the Dr. Oz show in Feb 2017 sharing my story of losing 200-pounds. (3) I’ve been a licensed manicurist in the state of MA since 1999!

Owning Swarm with Brian, we both are fulfilling our life passion by helping as many people as possible transform their lives. My passion stems from my own transformation story.
I grew up a heavy child and continued to gain weight through my teens. At 21 I was at a routine Dr’s appt and couldn't believe the scale read 352 pounds. I was told I would be wheelchair bound with knees giving out on me if I didn’t do something soon. I was guided toward weight loss surgery. It was that moment that sparked a fire that would change my life. I didn’t want surgery. I wanted to prove to myself that I could make the life long commitment to a healthier and happier me. It was a LONG road. Many ups, downs, and life events took place over the next 20 years - but I never gave up. I put in the work, and consistently showed up day after day. Leveraging portion control and making healthy nutritious food choices while maintaining my physical fitness, I finally hit my personal goal of losing 200 pounds on my 35th birthday in Nov 2014!!
When I began my journey I could only walk for a few minutes at a time. It took a long time, but slowly worked up to small walk/runs and then Planet Fitness. I became a licensed Zumba instructor in 2014 and taught classes 6 days week. I loved the people and the energy! Motivating and holding each other accountable – the amazing friendships.
I tried CrossFit for the first time at SWARM in October 2016 and instantly fell in love (with CrossFit, and with Brian too!) In 2017 I started to shadow the classes he coached while also focusing on improving myself as an athlete. I began assistant coaching in 2017, earned my Level 1 certification in Jan 2018 and then my Level 2 in 2021. I LOVE learning and improving myself to continue to bring the very best experience to my members’ day.
We launched our Nutrition Coaching program in 2020 and I earned both my HSN and Precision Nutrition coaching certifications. We help our members build lifelong healthy habits and keep them accountable to their goals. These habits are what have helped me maintain a 200-pound weight loss for the last 11 years! I bring my life experiences to the table and relate to the struggles as I have been there. I continue to walk the walk everyday and feel lucky to provide support and accountability to others along their journey to their healthiest self.
